St Kevin's Way follows in the footsteps of St Kevin through the hills of County Wicklow to the haunting and mysterious valley of Glendalough where he stayed the rest of his life in solitary prayer and contemplation.

Sean Linehan Walk
4km woodland walk starting at Tinnakilly Bridge following the Ballycreen Brook from Aughrim village deep into the Tinnakilly woods. Alder, Oak, Birch and Sycamore trees grace the riverbanks and keep watch for dippers, wrens and stoats.

Bray to Greystones- Coastal Walk

Greystones - Town Walk
The beautiful seaside town of Greystones is famous for it’s
impressive homes and tree lined avenues. This easy ramble gives you the opportunity to explore the heart of the town and beautiful beach.

Greystones to Bray Cliff Walk
Bray and Greystones are twin resorts and the 6.5km (4 miles) cliff walk between them gives glorious sea views and the chance to see seabird-nesting sites.

Tomnafinnoge - Woodlands walk
This ancient woodland will bring you back in time. Giant Oak trees dominate but you will encounter plenty more trees and plants on this 4km walk.

Wicklow - Town Walk
Vikings settled in Wicklow in the 9th century and gave the town its name. The walk takes you through this historic coastal town. Black Castle and Wicklow Gaol are just two of the many sites you will encounter.

Avoca Woodland Walks
Depending on your energy levels you can choose from two walks. The first is a short walk through enchanting oakwood and the charming village of Avoca. A longer walk meanders through pine woodland, returning by country road with superb views of Wicklow.

Baltinglass - Town Walk
West Wicklow is rich in archaeological and medieval history, there are no fewer than 7 hillforts in the Baltinglass area. You can explore the amazing ruins of The Abbey and Stratford Lodge Woods along your walk.

Blessington - Town Walk
Polaphuca Reservoir has a very interesting history, constructed in the 1930s many homes and villages were buried, as the valley was flooded. This walk takes you from the town centre to the shoreline where the ruins of Burgage Castle still stand.

Blessington Lakes
Blessington, Co. Wicklow Set in the Wicklow Mountains, the Blessington Lakes cover 5000 acres water. The Lakes were formed 50 years ago by the building of the Poulaphouca Dam and hydroelectric station. Many amenities can be enjoyed in the Lakes area.

The house, which is beautifully maintained and lavishly furnished, contains paintings from the Beit Collection, fine furniture, carpets, porcelain and silver. Open 10.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. (last admission 5.00 p.m.) May, June, July, August, September open every day. April and October open Sundays and Bank Holidays. Tea Room and Shop. Maze open daily June, July and August.

Passage-Graves
Round earthen tombs known as Passage-Graves. The grave has probably been open for a long time, an Early Christian equal-armed cross can be seen on one of the roofing stones. Situated on top of a mountain, the climb is worth it for the view alone.

St. Mark’s Cross and Tower BURGAGE MORE.
St. Mark’s Cross is tall and thin, and the arms are proportionately wide in relation to the small unpierced ring. Tradition says that it had another pair of arms! Although called St. Mark’s Cross, it was known as St. Baoithin’s Cross in the 19th century.

Threecastles
A rectangular castle with a barrel vault at the top of the third storey. There is a well-preserved fire-place in the second storey, and a turret stair leading to the roof. The castle was built in the early 15th century. The English and Brian O’Toole defeated the Fitzgeralds here in a battle in 1547.

Enniskerry - Woodland walk
Enniskerry has many treasures one of the lesser known is Knocksink Woods. This Special Area of Conservation has an education centre which is very popular with kids and adults.

Avondale Forest Park Rathdrum,
Co. Wicklow A 500 acre wonderland of wildlife and flora that stretches along the banks of the Avonmore River inviting exploration and discovery from children and adults alike. There are a variety of signposted walks which vary in distance. Ample pay parking.

Glenmalure - Woodlands Walk
Glenmalure Valley, Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow This remote and wild valley is the longest of its kind in Ireland and Britain. Along the route you will enjoy spectacular views along the valley and the Carawaystick Brook Waterfall.

St. Kevin's Way
St Kevin's Way follows in the footsteps of St Kevin through the hills of County Wicklow to the haunting and mysterious valley of Glendalough where he stayed the rest of his life in solitary prayer and contemplation. After Kevin's death in 618, what had been a humble hermit's retreat developed into an impressive monastic city which was to continue as a centre of piety and learning for many years to come. Medieval pilgrims came from far and wide to visit his tomb, and the alternative starting points to the walk reflect the different directions from which they are likely to have travelled.
