  • The road goes from a dual carriageway (motorway) M11 into single lane, then back into Dual carriageway

  • Once you get back onto dual carriageway take the exit marked Arklow South

  • Follow signs for Arklow Town (about 4 km)

  • Straight through 2 roundabouts

  • At third roundabout take 2nd exit (R747) (signposted Vale of Avoca)

  • Follow this winding road for about 10 minutes

  • Past the petrol station
