It gives us great pleasure to introduce you to the Woodenbridge Hotel & Lodge. Situated in the Vale of Avoca, one of Ireland’s most beautiful locations, Woodenbridge Hotel & Lodge combines all the charm of yesteryear with all the facilities required of a modern hotel.
Established in 1608, Woodenbridge Hotel is the oldest hotel in Ireland and some of our past guests include Michael Collins, Eamon de Valera, Charles Stewart Parnell and Thomas Moore, who have all been captivated by the idyllic wonder of Woodenbridge. The main hotel has 29 well-appointed bedrooms all ensuite .The main hotel overlooks the Vale of Avoca and the amazing scenery of the Woodenbridge Golf Club.
Woodenbridge Lodge is the more modern part of the hotel and the home of the newly opened Smokehouse Restaurant. It is adjacent from the main hotel in wonderful, landscaped gardens overlooking the Aughrim River. There are 40 bedrooms that can avail of all the facilities of the main hotel, but are away from the hustle and bustle. Twenty of the rooms here have their very own balconies.

Goldmines Bistro
The Goldmines Bistro is the centre of activity in the hotel. An extensive bar food menu is served daily and at night-time the bar caters to both locals and guest alike, with music at the weekends & the summer months.
Bar food is served from 12.30pm – 9pm, 7 days a week.
Smokehouse Restaurant
The Smokehouse restaurant is our newly established sheltered outdoor restaurant.
All foods are prepared on the Woodenbridge Smokehouse & grill.
The Smokehouse caters for meat lovers, fish enthusiasts and vegans.
Our Smokehouse open’s seasonally from April to October.
Opening times vary please check at reception for opening times during your stay.
Housekeeping
Full complimentary house-keeping service is available daily from 8am to 4pm, please opt in for this option with reception and inform the reception when you would like this to be completed. Limited service available after 4pm.
A full range of towels are provided in the rooms. Should you require additional towels or pillows these are available to you 24hrs a day at no extra cost by dialling 0.
Ironing facility
There are ironing rooms in both the Main Hotel and The Lodge. You will find them beside room 201 in the Main Hotel and on the first floor beside the lift in The Lodge.
